7th Pay Commission, 7th CPC Latest News, Central Government Employees: The facility of ‘Flexi attendance’ for central government employees has been extended till June 15. The decision was taken at a meeting of senior officials of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
After this meeting, Union Minister Jitendra Singh has given this information through his official Twitter handle. It has been said in the tweet that this decision has been taken in view of the circumstances arising out of the Corona crisis.
Jitendra Singh has tweeted that the ‘Work from a home protocol developed by DoPT has been so successful that we have got more output than normal days. This is because government employees are working online even on weekends and holidays.
Under the protocol, women employees with disabilities and pregnant women can be exempted from attendance in the office but they will work from their home. At the same time, the officers / employees will have to follow the time fixed by the Heads of Departments so that congestion can be avoided.
All officers/employees residing in the Containment Zone are exempted from coming to the office until their area is denominated. It is to be known that the DoPT had fixed the facility of ‘Flexi attendance’ for central employees till May 31.
