‘Those who broke the country, now they have come out to unite’- Anurag Thakur on Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’

Bharat Jodo Yatra: Union Minister Anurag Thakur ridiculed Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ led by Rahul Gandhi and said that those who worked to break the country are now organizing such yatras. Anurag Thakur visited Thane on Sunday as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) outreach program for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and during this time he said these things. During his three-day visit to Kalyan parliamentary seat in Thane district, Thakur will meet party workers, listen to their problems and discuss ways to improve the party organization in the region.

Congress had accused BJP

At the same time, Congress leaders had accused the BJP and said that some people are trying to break the country, we have come out to connect the people. Rahul Gandhi will meet people from all sections of the country. Our journey is to eradicate hatred and increase mutual brotherhood and love.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh attacked BJP and RSS and said ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra is not only against the divisive politics of BJP, but it also aims to revive the party organization across the country from block to state level. Jairam Ramesh said the yatra is a “listening yatra” where former Congress president Rahul Gandhi will listen to the problems of common people during his 3,570 km journey from Kanyakumari to Jammu and Kashmir in Tamil Nadu. He hit back at the social media comments about Gandhi’s clothes, saying, “It is a frivolous, childish and foolish act of a party, which is frustrated by this visit.”

Rahul Gandhi and party leaders will travel 450 km

The 19-day journey of Congress’ ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra began in Kerala on Sunday morning, in which party leaders will travel 450 km along with Rahul Gandhi.
