Mukesh and Neeta had once grown up in a middle-class family. Neeta says that she always remembers her past. This is the reason why he has established his own world away from all the glamor and glare of the industry. And this is a school opened in memory of his father-in-law Dhiru Bhai Ambani. Neeta says that she once had a dream of becoming a lawyer, but due to Dhirubhai’s illness, she had to leave LLB studies in between. During that time he saw that the people of Mumbai used to send their children abroad to get a good education. He then decided to set up a school in Mumbai where the best children could grow. Only after this did the vision of Dhirubhai School be formulated.
According to Neeta, her association with the school had only happened when Mukesh Patal was working on the Ganga plant. He had then opened a school in a rural setting. He loves unmatched children. Then she realized that teaching is an area which she could work on by making her life mission. After Patal Ganga, he laid the foundation stone of Jamnagar School. After this, things connected with each other and finally the Dhirubhai Ambani school blueprint was prepared.
She says that she does not emphasize in school how much the children have missed. His emphasis is on how to do something different in his life. Neeta says that she tells the teachers that she does not remember what she had read during her school days. But he remembers every moment till today when the teachers tried to show his life the right way. Neeta believes that no country can progress without education. For everyone to have equal opportunities to get an education, overall efforts are very important this.
Today, Neeta’s husband Mukesh Ambani is one of the richest people in the world. She also has a social circle, but Neeta says that she switches off her phone when Dhirubhai Ambani is entering school. In an interview with the Times of India, Nita Ambani had said that in reality, this is a time when people make phone recommendations to them for admission to Dhirubhai Ambani School.
