Huawei Freebuds 5i has been launched in China. Huawei’s earbuds claim up to 28 hours of battery life with the charging case. The earbuds are claimed to be of use for 7.5 hours on a single charge.
The FreeBuds 5i supports multi-mode free switching, meaning the earbuds can be connected to two devices at the same time. They also get dual hybrid noise cancellation and are IPX 4 water-resistant. Huawei Freebuds 5i comes in three color options and is available for sale in China. However, there is no information about its launch in India yet.

The price of Huawei Freebuds 5i in China is around Rs 5,800. The earbuds are available in three colors which include Ceramic White, Interstellar Black, and Island Blue.
Huawei Freebuds 5i Specifications
The Huawei Freebuds 5i comes in a lightweight design with silicone earbuds. The earbuds have received Hi-Res certification for sound quality. The FreeBuds feature dual hybrid noise cancellation technology that helps the earbuds achieve noise cancellation. It also has ear canal adaptive noise cancellation. It also has a preferred Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) mode.
The earbuds come with touch controls where you can switch on/off noise cancellation and transparent mode with a long press on any earbud. Volume can be controlled by sliding up or down on the stem of the earbuds. Tapping the earbud twice will play/pause the song and pick up or disconnect the call.
The Audio Connection Center of the Smart Life app helps users manage the devices connected to the earphones and switch between the connected devices.
Battery backup of Huawei Freebuds 5i:
The Huawei earbuds come with a minimum capacity of 55mAh for the free buds and 410mAh for the charging case. The FreeBuds 5i claims a battery capacity of 28 hours with the ANC feature off and 18.5 hours with ANC switched on when used with the charging case. The earbuds on their own can deliver up to 7.5 hours of battery life without ANC and up to six hours with ANC enabled. The case will take around 60 minutes to charge the earphones and around 110 minutes for wired charging.
