Mirzapur 2 has been released today on Amazon Prime, which is getting a lot of love from the audience. In this web series, Pankaj Tripathi has left a deep impression of acting with his character ‘Kaalin Bhaiya’. He is one of the best actors of Bollywood and OTT platforms today. Born in a small village in Gopalganj, Bihar, Pankaj Tripathi has seen many ups and downs in his life, and today he has become an established artist. Pankaj Tripathi’s love story is also very interesting. In a conversation with Lallantop a few days ago, he mentioned his love story and marriage.
He told that he fell in love with Mridula without seeing it and he used to cry after listening to the songs in her memory. He told his entire love story, ‘In 1992 Sulabh Toilet was to be built. A mason from his village went to his village to give an estimate of Sulabh toilets, how much cement would be used, how many rods would be used. My brother Sulabh is a toilet expert, he sent Mistry to the village. The mistress named Mukhtar went to his house and took a toilet estimate and saw him. After coming, he told me that there is a girl like a deer. On the other hand, he gave the toilet estimate, gave me the estimate of life.
Pankaj Tripathi said that he fell in love with the mason and he used to cry and sing songs in memory of Mridula. He told, “It is not loved to listen. I had heard the news and I got my imagination from the eyes of Mukhtar. Just ‘You live in a heartbeat’, ‘Love you very much, I love you’, the songs we used to cry in the 90s, now we laugh and talk. To be in love means to be a good man. ‘
Pankaj Tripathi told me about his first meeting, ‘My sister had Tilak, we were sitting on Tilak and we were getting married in the same house. I had coconut in my hand, betel leaf, and handkerchief. There were about 200 – 250 people in the courtyard. Panditji was reciting the mantra and I was looking here and there that the buck was not seen which was mentioned. Suddenly it seemed that the crowd was over, I am sitting alone with coconut and she came walking alone in the empty courtyard and went filling the kulache. On the second day of Tilak, there was just a hello. It took us about 10–12 years after that. ‘
Pankaj Tripathi said that his marriage also faced difficulties because Mridula’s mother did not want to get married. He told, ‘The girl’s mother was against marriage. He used to think that he plays dramas, sometimes works in hotels, sometimes sells shoes. The mother was against because she thought what the boy does. Pankaj Tripathi said that there was a difference of ground sky between the two, yet one thing was common that both of them were very fond of literature and they impressed Mridula with stories.
