Ram’s petrol 93 ₹ in India, Sita’s Nepal 53 ₹ and Ravana’s Lanka 51 ₹ – Subramanian Swamy

On Monday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the General Budget 2021-22 in Parliament. During the budget, the Finance Minister announced the imposition of agricultural cess on diesel and petrol. According to the general budget, the government has imposed an agricultural cess of Rs 4 per liter on diesel and Rs 2.5 per liter of agricultural cess on petrol. Although the government has said that this will not affect the pockets of the people, but their own leaders are not able to accept this.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has taunted the government for imposing agricultural cess on petrol and diesel. Subramaniam Swamy shared a photo on Twitter. In the photo, the prices of petrol have been compared to other countries. In this photo, Swami has written that petrol prices in Rama’s country India are Rs. 93, Sita’s country in Nepal. 51 per liter. Let me tell you These days, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 86 per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel is also 76 rupees. They cost even more in Mumbai.

However, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that with the increase in agricultural cess on petrol and diesel, the basic excise duty and addition excise duty rate have been reduced. Due to this, there will be no additional burden of agricultural cess on the customers.

However, this is not the first time Subramanian Swamy has attacked his own government through Twitter. A few days ago, Subramanian Swamy tweeted that questions were raised on Tata getting the contract for the parliament building. Swami tweeted and wrote, “Does anyone know how Tata was chosen to build the new Parliament complex?” Was it bid for or was it given to the 2G spectrum scam that came first?
