PM Modi: Prime minister Narendra Modi On Saturday (October 22) launched a recruitment drive ‘Rozgar Mela’ for 10 lakh personnel. PM Modi launched the employment fair through video conferencing. On this occasion, PM Modi handed over appointment letters to 75,000 people.
PM Modi said in his address, “The campaign of employment and self-employment that is going on in the country in the last 8 years, today another link has been added to it. This link is of the employment fair.
Today the central government has given appointment letters to 75 thousand youth. For the fulfillment of the resolve of a developed India, we are walking on the path of a self-reliant India. In this, our innovators, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, farmers, services, and manufacturing associates have a big role. Today there are so many central government departments in this. Readiness, so much ability has come behind it, 7-8 years of hard work is behind it, Karma Yogis have a strong resolve.
PM Modi further said, “Today India is the fifth largest economy in the world. Within 7-8 years we have jumped from number 10 to number 5. This is being possible because in the last 8 years we have improved the country’s economy. Those shortcomings have been removed, which used to create obstacles.
Referring to the youth, PM Modi said that today our most emphasis is on the skill development of the youth. He said that under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, a huge campaign is going on in the country to train the youth according to the needs of the industries.
The Prime Minister also mentioned about rural areas in his address. He said that another example of the large number of employment generation in villages is our Khadi and Village Industries. He said, “Khadi and village industries for the first time in the country, have exceeded one lakh crore rupees. In these years, more than one crore jobs have been created in Khadi and village industries. In this also a large number of our sisters have a stake.”
What did PM Modi say on self-reliant India?
PM Modi said that the Start-Up India campaign has established the potential of the youth of the country in the whole world. Till the year 2014, where there were only a few hundred start-ups in the country, today this number has exceeded 80 thousand. He said that the country’s most ambitious mission in the 21st century is Make in India, a self-reliant India. He said that today the country is coming from a big importer to a big exporter in many respects. There are many such sectors in which India is moving fast towards becoming a global hub today.
