Rahul Gandhi has once again surrounded the Modi government regarding the Corona vaccine. He tweeted. ‘Free vaccine was being talked about for everyone in Bihar elections. Now the government is saying that not everyone will be vaccinated. After all, what is the stand of MM Modi? ‘ Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan had said that there has been no talk of vaccinating the entire population of the country. Preference will be given to those who may easily fall prey to corona.
ICMR Director General Balaram Bhargava once said that the aim of the vaccine campaign would be to break the Kovid chain. If the chain can be broken by vaccinating some people, then the entire population will not need to be vaccinated. The Union Health Secretary had also said that the government had not said about vaccination for the entire country. He also assured that the timeframe for vaccination would not be affected.
People have questions in their mind that whether they will get the vaccine or not, and if it is, will they have to pay for free or money? The government’s strategy is gradually becoming clear. The first 300 million population may be vaccinated which will include the Corona Warriors and those above 50 years of age. After this, depending on the availability of the vaccine, the price can also be charged from the rest. However, the government has not yet released any statement in this matter.
India is currently focusing on five vaccines, keeping in mind its high need, including AstraZeneca-Oxford, Zydus Cadila, Biological E, Dr. Reddy, and Bharat Biotech Vaccine. Paul said that these five can provide a good amount of vaccine and control the epidemic. In Ahmedabad, Zydus is making a vaccine under the name of Cadila Zykov D. Its two-stage trial has been done. India Biotech and ICMR together make the vaccine. Its third phase trial is underway in 25 hospitals.
