The birth anniversary of Lord Shri Chandracharya took place on the Navami Samvat 1551 of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha. His childhood name was Chandra Dev. He was born in Talwandi in Kharagpur tehsil of Lahore to Sulakshana Devi, the wife of Sriguru Nanak Dev Ji, the promoter of Sikhism.
