NTA said neet and jee examination scheduled in September and over 14 lakh students have already downloaded their admit card for NEET medical entrance and JEE- mains engineering entrance.
Education minister Ramesh Pokhariyal said, no. Of Amit card being downloaded for the examination by the students which means, they want exams to be held.

NTA DG told us the 7.5 lakh students out of 8.58 students have downloaded their admit cards. And in NEET 10 lakh students out of 15.97 lakh students downloaded their admit card’s in past 24 hours, Ramesh Pokhriyal said.
The education minister also said that JEE examination center increased to 660 from 570 so that people can avoid pandemic and keep maintain social distancing.
And the NEET examination center increased to 3842 from 2546 for the convenience of students and allotted examination centers according to their choices.
NEET entrance examination is scheduled on September 13, said NTA DG.
Official added that 7.41 lakh students out of 8.58 lakh students downloaded their admit cards and only 332 students want to change their examination center.
Commenting on stop the examination, Pokhariyal said, most of the students and parents are putting pressure on us to conduct the examination.
Pokhriyal also said the supreme court said that the whole academic year cannot be wasted. Examination dates have been finalized.
However, various opponents’ leaders in India joined the students and parents and demand cancel the exam.
Last week supreme court dismissed two plea for cancellation of examination and said that the crucial year of academic of students cannot be wasted.
Over 150 academicians from Indian universities and abroad universities have written to prime minister Narendra Modi to conduct the examination. And saying that delaying examination will affect the student’s future.
So, it is clear that the probably government may conduct the entrance examination of NEET and JEE- mains.
If examination will be held so the government will have to take various precautions and students also take proper precautions and keep maintain social distancing.
The government does not want to delay India’s hardest examination for the sake of students future but students life is also important so the government has to make sure that, preparation of examination should be strict.
On the other hand, Congress has called a protest on the national level against the decision of the government to conduct the entrance exams of JEE & NEET.
