Rahat Indori On 11th August 2020 an unfortunate death at the age of 70 years from cardiac arrest in Aurobindo hospital, Indore.
Before the night of his death, he was also tested positive with coronavirus.
Who was Rahat Indori-
Rahat Qureshi also named Rahat Indori was a very famous Bollywood lyricist and also a poet of Urdu language. He was born on 1 January 1950 at Indore Madhya Pradesh.
His father was a cloth mill worker named Rafatullah Qureshi and his mother’s name was Maqbool Un Nisa Begum. Rahat Indori was the fourth child of his parents.
His schooling was done from Nutan school in Indore. He passed his graduation from Islamia Karimia college from Indore. He also completed his M.A in Urdu literature from Barkat Ullah university Bhopal in 1973.
His hobbies are painting, traveling. His favorite sports were Hockey, football, etc. He was a former professor in Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. He did his Ph.D. in Urdu literature from Madhya Pradesh Bhoj University.
His thesis title named was Urdu Main Mushaira. On 27th May 1986, Rahat Indori got married to Seema Rahat. They have two sons named-Faisal Rahat and Satlaj Rahat and one daughter named Shibli Irfan.
After that in the year 1988, he married Anjum Rehbar and unluckily got separated in 1993. In 1972, He represent his first poetry at the age of 19. He performed in many Mushaira and poetry events.
He also traveled to many places to perform like the USA, UK, UAE, Mauritius, Singapore, etc. Recently he was also invited on tv serials like as a guest in The Kapil Sharma Show two times and many more.
He also did a fabulous job as a lyricist in many films like Main Tera Ashiq, Aashyan, Khuddar, Murder, Munna Bhai MBBS, Ishq, Ghatak, etc. He wrote many interesting books named RUT, Chand Pagal Hai, Naraz, Maujood, Dhopp Bahut Hai, and many more.
Rahat Indori is one of the richest authors of India. Rahat Indori was a very famous youth icon as he did very amazing work in poetry, Shayaris relating to the young generation.
He’s one of the famous line gone viral “BULATI HAI MAGAR JANE KA NAHI” is recently viral in every social media platform. Dr. Indori rights on many topics but mostly he wrote on Pyar & Dard.
He was very famous within the youth generation. The whole nation was in shock after the news of his death yesterday. One of the great pillars of poetry left this world. The world should always remember him as a very great poet and lyricist.
