Vivo first used Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G to bring budget 5G phones.

American chipset manufacturer Qualcomm recently launched the 5G capable Snapdragon 480 mobile platform. Now Vivo has launched the latest phone Vivo Y31s in China using the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. However, there is no information about the launch of this phone in other markets. The price of this phone has been kept at 1,698 yuan (about Rs 19,154).

The Qualcomm company has for the first time offered 5G on the 4 Series SoC (System On Chipset). With the help of this chipset, 5G features will also be available in budget phones. This phone will be received in three color variants, which are Monot Color, Titanium Empty Gray, and Ruby Red.

Vivo Y31s specification

The Vivo Y31s has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display, which supports FullHD + resolution. The refresh rate of this phone’s display is 90 Hz and the screen to body ratio is 90.61 percent. Talking about the display design, a dewdrop notch has been given at the top towards the front. This phone comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. It has 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. There are features like Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, and GPS for connectivity.

Vivo Y31s Camera

Talking about camera setup, the Vivo Y31S has a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, which comes with an LED flashlight. Has an 8-megapixel front camera for video calls and selfies.

Snapdragon 480 5G chip features

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G chipset has been upgraded in addition to 5G support. It also has a dual Wi-Fi antenna, Bluetooth 5.1, and advanced wireless audio support with Wi-Fi 6 features. This chipset uses dual-frequency GPS and NavIC for location positioning. Let’s say that NavIC is an Indian positioning system.
